Security agents in Zimbabwe have allegedly detained two Nigerian pastors and blocked their leader, Chris Okafor – who last year prophesied President Robert Mugabe’s death – from entering the country, reports said today, reports Zimbabwean News Day.
Okafor, the leader of the Liberation City World Outreach Ministries, reportedly said in October last year that Zimbabwe would have a new president by March this year.
The prophecy may not have been well-received by Zimbabwean authorities, News Day reported.

A SIX-man gang of suspected kidnappers yesterday engaged Anambra State Police Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, in a gun battle at Okpoko in Ogbaru local government area during which three members of the gang were feared dead and a woman, Mrs. Edith Maduekwe, kidnapped by the gang, rescued by the police. Mrs. Maduekwe, who was kidnapped by the suspects on October 4, 2014 at Oba in Idemili South local government area was rescued at an erosion site in Oraukwu in Idemili North local government area of the state.

An Arik Air cabin crew member as on Monday night arrested at Heathrow Airport London by the UK Border Force in connection with alleged possession of items suspected to be banned substances.
PM News could not officially ascertain the nature of the ban substance or the name of the crew member but unconfirmed source said the crew member was caught with cocaine.
Arik Airline has however responded to the arrest saying that is presently carrying out its private investigation to determine how the cabin crew member came about the suspected banned substance.
A statement signed by the airline spokesman, Ola Adebanji said the airline will be cooperating fully with the UK authorities and other appropriate agencies in their investigations.
“The airline again reaffirms its commitment to the fight against drug and illicit substances trafficking and will not tolerate the use of any of its aircraft or crew for the courier of banned items and substances,” he said.
Adebanji added that Arik Airline carries out very stringent checks on all members of staff and its travelling guests ahead of all flights.

A video clip showing an ex-commissioner in Zamfara State reportedly engaged in an explicit sexual activity with an unidentified lady in a room has surfaced.

The former commissioner was a member of the recently dissolved cabinet in the state.

The two-minute video clip which was obtained by Daily Trust has attracted criticism and condemnation from some people, who are demanding he be arrested and prosecuted.

Some residents who have seen the video have described it as the most scandalous video in the history of the state and others are wondering why he got involved in such illicit act.



It is unknown who recorded the sex video, whether a third party in the act or a mounted camera. Some are however, insinuating one of the actors might have been recorded it because of the unsteadiness of the recording.

When Malam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad, the state deputy governor was approached by journalists, he said he would not stop anyone from publishing the story but it would be better if the story was left alone.

When the ex-commissioner involved in the sex video was contacted, he said: “I am on my way to Gusau, give me some time and I would call you back when I arrive, please.”

Despite promising to call back, he did not.

Spokesman of the state police command, DSP Sanusi Amiru, said he could not comment on the issue as he was yet to see the video.

32-year-old housewife, Nancy (surname withheld) in Okpanam Community, near Asaba Delta State, has allegedly stabbed herself to death following the failure of the husband to fulfill his conjugal responsibility at the weekend.

It was reliably gathered that the woman, an evangelist with a prominent church in the area, had complained bitterly to her relations about her husband’s “weakness” during sexual intercourse, threatening that she cannot stand it anymore.

But insiders said that she got married to the man, a highly placed mechanical engineer (name withheld) without premarital sex, and is said to have grumbled after the situation confronted her.

Trouble started last Saturday night after the husband reportedly failed to perform again; and she allegedly took the decision to kill herself by stabbing herself in the stomach.

Police officers at the Okpanam Police Division, who confirmed the incident but did not want their names in the print, said they saw her lifeless body in her room after the husband had gone to work.No arrest had yet been made at the time of filing this report as investigation was ongoing.

There has been a sounding warning to popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele from the founder of Mountain of Blessing and Miracle Church of Christ, Prophet Dr. Olagorioye Faleyimu.
