(NOWA) in Rivers on Sunday, cautioned young girls against indulging in immoral acts

The Nigerian Navy Officers Wives Association (NOWA) in Rivers on Sunday, cautioned young girls against indulging in immoral acts in the name of celebrating Valentine’s Day.

 Mrs Sha’awa Kashim-Ibrahim, Zonal Director of NOWA, Port Harcourt zone, gave the word of caution while distributing Valentine gifts to patients at the Navy Medical Centre in Port Harcourt. Kashim-Ibrahim, who is the wife of the Commander of Nigerian Navy Ship Pathfinder, Port Harcourt, Commodore Sanusi Ibrahim, said that most teenage girls faced molestation from their male neighbours and relatives during the celebration.
 “The whole concept of Valentine day is to celebrate and express love with the less privileged in our society. “It is not a day set aside for negative aspects of love as people, mostly young girls and boys, perceive it to be.
