THE Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Unizik , community has been thrown into mourning, following the death of a 500L student from the department of Computer and Electronic Engineering, Somkene Ikegwuonu.
Somkene Ikegwuonu who until his death, resides at Ifite. He was said to have slumped after playing football match with his friends few days ago.
Somkene like other finalists have not more than 4 months to graduate from this institution but unfortunately death cut this tall dream short.

A staff of the university, who Preferred Anonymous , described the incident as shocking to the university, adding that the late Somkene was a dedicated and hard working student of the university.
Schoollifegist team commiserated with the family of Ikegwuonu on the untimely death of their Son, urging them to take solace in God for the unquantifiable loss.
