Fintiri’s 22 billion expenditure as acting governor for 86 days causes tension
Adamawa state is enmeshed in tension following allegations that the speaker of the state house of assembly, UmaruFintiri spent over N 22 billion during his stay as acting governor of the state.Ahmadu-Umaru-Fintiri
The allegation is coming as the 86-day tenure of former Acting Governor and Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Fintiri came under scrutiny at the weekend as a group of concerned citizens under the aegis of Adamawa Progressive Movement described it as sleaze infested.

The convener of the group, Joshua Sunday Wugira, noted that from explanation offered by Fintiri on how he ran his 86-day government during a world Press Conference he addressed in Yola, it was glaring that the state was robbed of colossal amount of funds.
