Marine Sciences Faculty IS availabel in UNICAL

Professor Francis Emile Asuquo, pioneer Dean of the University of Calabar’s newly established Marine Sciences faculty, has inaugurated the Faculty board.

    A board has been inaugurated for the newly established Marine Sciences faculty of the University of Calabar (UNICAL).
    The pioneer Dean, Professor Francis Emile Asuquo, oversaw the inaugurated at the Faculty’s Conference Hall.
    Asuquo thanked the Vice Chancellor, Prof. James Epoke, and the Senate of the University for approving the establishment of the faculty.
    The Professor of Oceanography (Marine Chemistry), expressed hope that the National Universities Commission (NUC) would give its approval for the commencement of full operations in the 2015/2016 academic Session.
    The Dean promised to facilitate the return of all programmes at the Institute of Oceanography, which he headed until his appointment as Dean, to the new Faculty.
